"What happened to Velo Lab?"

"We stopped manufacturing bicycles. We started engineering freedom.

For years, Velo Lab pushed the boundaries of physics in Bremen, Germany,

engineering the world s lightest (16.5 kg), most responsive ’ cargo bicycles. But we

realized something profound: a masterpiece of engineering is useless if it

doesn't take you somewhere extraordinary.

The bicycle was never the destination. It was the interface. 

The premises and the old Velo Lab equipment have been purchased by Stefan Peters. Velo Lab is still where it was – the space remains, even if the future is taking a different shape.

The handcrafted frame production will not take place here anymore.
